Today at Ewetopia Farms, we are moving sheep again! First, Arnie takes the market lambs to the sales barn. Meanwhile, I take the leftover lambs back to the Coveralls. While there, after fixing a fence, I release both the ram lambs and the ewe lambs to their pastures. We watch then awhile in real-time and in slow motion. When Arnie gets back, we wean some of the larger February-born lambs and move them to the lamb barn. After lunch, we move the pregnant ewes to a new pen, we move the Dorset and Dorset crosses and Suffolks to the main barn for shearing tomorrow. Finally, we moved the previously shorn Dorsets to the Coveralls. A very busy day on the farm!

Our operation is a large scale, registered Suffolk and Poll Dorset sheep farm combining the best of pasture and confinement to manage the flock for maximum comfort, minimal stress, and producing a consistent, very high quality product. Our focus is on providing breeding stock for sale to other sheep producers. All our sheep are treated with the utmost compassion which I think will become evident as you join us on our daily rounds on our working sheep farm in eastern Ontario, Canada.
